UPDATED: I am very blessed to be a stay at home mom. I resigned from my job to be a full time care giver to my two special needs kids. My 21 yo daughter suffers from "multiple spontaneous spinal fluid leaks", so it is very painful for her to be upright but she is very bright, loving and a blessing in my life. I also have a funny, gentle giant 19 yo autistic son who is opposed to: "any crunching noises in his head", cooked mushrooms or peaches "because they feel like someone else has already chewed them", watermelon "because it feels like styrofoam sounds", casseroles "because all that food touching can't possibly taste right", and pork (but if we call it "pigmeat" he will usually eat it). My daughter is also hypersensitive to many foods, including any citrus fruits and peppers. Creating meals that can/will be eaten is VERY challenging in this house. Luckily, my husband will eat just about anything EXCEPT olives, so whatever my kids can't/won't touch my husband gets yummy leftovers! If I had a month off, I would sleep, sleep, drink some starbucks and sleep some more.

Favorite food to consume- Caramel Macchiato from Starbucks - 140 degrees, non-fat, upside down--I know, I know, not technically a food, but I would (and have)skipped food for a well made CM. HEAR YE HEAR YE - in my quest to be healthier - I have weaned myself off the triple venti CM and onto the plain grande latte! Yeah!
Favorite food to prepare - baked desserts and appetizers. My motto is "Who needs those entrees!"
Favorite restaurant is Carrabba's Italian Grill. Love the Lentil Soup.
