"I was looking for a different black-eyed peas dish for new year's day, and this was great! I sauteed the veggies then put everything in the crock pot on low for 3 hours. I also added a half cup of uncooked rice to the mixture."

"This was very good! It makes a perfect lasagne. I used twice the amount of sauce called for, because we like lots of sauce."

"This is REALLY good and easy to make! I served it with flour tortilas and sour cream and made burritos. Next time I'll cut up some lettuce and tomatoes to go with it."

"Very good! I too added some water to thin the sauce a bit. I also broiled the meatballs to brown them. I tried using a frying pan, but mine has high sides, and it was awkward to turn them and they kept breaking apart. Under the broiler, they browned nicely and kept their round shape."

"This was very good and easy to make! I added a package of frozen peas in the last five minutes of cooking time. My only suggestion would be change the recipe to include information about how much water to use. I used enough to cover the chicken pieces by an inch, and it worked perfectly, but I did wonder if I was using the right amount."

"Very good! I made this in the crock pot, cooking it on high for 5-6 hours. I also used venison, and I added a can of cream of mushroom soup instead of the flour"
