Hi! My name is Teresa. I have recently retired but DH still has 2 1/2 years to go. As of today (Christmas morning 2007) He has 918 days to go. Update 7/16/08 DH now has 712 days to go. Update 1/1/09 DH now has only 545 days till retirement. 7/17/09 update it's only 347 days now. Wow! It's been a while sense I last updated, he now has 204 days to retirement 12/11/09. See how time flies. My husband and I take a lot of RV trips (we have been practicing our retirement). We trailer our motorcycle with us and take a lot of side trips to see our wonderful country. I enjoy hiking, snowshoeing, have done some rock climbing but age is creeping up on my poor old bones. Anything to do with the outdoors I enjoy, so why do I live in rainy Washington state?
We have 2 wonderful children both grown and both have decided to move to sunny California. My son lives in LA and my daughter and her husband live in a beautiful little city called Rancho Santa Margarita. We have only one grandchild, but she's lives real close to us. She's 17 and loves to drive over and visit. She's a sweetheart. We enjoy taking her with us on our RV trips. (She great at taking the garbage out) :) Update DD is "pregnant" yippee, she's due at the end of July 09. We can't wait. :)
Wooo Hooo! the wait is over! We have a beautiful little grandson. He weighed in at 8 lbs 10 oz. on 7/17/09. Life is good when you have a son and daughter and you receive a gift back with a granddaughter and grandson. :)

It would be easier to list the foods I don't like. I love anything mexican. I like it hot, hot, hot. I just enjoy trying new dishes, but the true enjoyment comes from preparing the food. I find it very relaxing. My favorite restaurant is a local one called Montazuma's. We discovered it when it was a hole in the wall. Word got out how great they were, that they made so much money they built a nice place in Tacoma and expanded out here in Gig Harbor. (how cool is that?)
