"I made a few tweaks. I did 2 lbs of chicken thighs (fat trimmed and not cut into pieces) and 1 lb of Italian sausage. I added olives, thyme, parsley, paprika to taste and subbed garlic salt for the plain salt. I also added a can of crushed tomatoes and subbed celery seed instead of powder since that's what I had on deck. Overall a solid dish...."
"Good garlic broth. Here's what I did different: I used 2 split chicken breasts (because I prefer white meat) with the skin removed. I added garlic powder to the seasonings on the chicken and used fresh basil instead of dried rosemary. Smelled wonderful while cooking. "I used lean ground beef so that it was the texture of Salisbury Steak. Used cream of mushroom soup (as I like mushrooms on my steak) and hald reg bread crumbs and half italian bread crumbs to cut down on salt...also threw in some red cooking wine and a bit wortcheshire (sp?) sauce. Turned out perfect! Great recipe."
