I'm a full time web developer for the Senior Housing Industry. Eating food has always been one of my passions (maybe too much) and now I've taken up food as a more healthy hobby. I've been using an online nutrition tracker and eating well balanced meals and keeping tabs on calories and everything else... I've lost 15 lbs in 6 weeks - without adding any exercise. I plan on implementing an exercise plan within the next week or so, but simply changing my diet has had a tremendous positive effect!
Over the last couple years, I've really started moving away from fast food. I used to love fast food and for a couple years, I really ate about 85% of my food from fast food restaurants, even though I've always enjoyed cooking, the convenience was there.
My new favorite foods are fresh vegetables, chicken prepared all sorts of ways, and excellent hummus.
Thai, Indian, traditional Mexican and other ethnic foods are my favorite. I'm big into spicy foods, and can handle more heat than just about everyone I know. They think I'm nuts, but I love it.
