    About Me

I love the finer things in life...a.k.a. eating drinking loving and reading. Started cooking when I quit smoking and had to have something to do with my oral fixation. The quitting didn't stick but the cooking did. I fear anorexic people. And I abhor bad restaurants.

    Favorite Foods

My best dishes are vegetable lasagna (cottage cheese instead of ricotta, always!), pepperoncini beef roast, peanut sauce anything, homemade mac&cheese (peppery as hell), soups made from my own stock, and pumpkin muffins. My favorite things to eat are well, anything. I love chicken fried steak as much as I love raw oysters with horseradish as much as I love West African lamb.
