I have recently moved from Vancouver Island, BC to Saskatoon, SK with my boyfriend. We are both big fans of eating healthy, locally grown and homemade food. I am very interested in organic small-scale farming and I am always looking to help with friends gardens. I have some goals set with my brother to start growing some veggies inside next winter. I have spent two years in university studying geology, I loved it and I love learning new things. I learn the best by doing things hands on and asking a ton of questions. I am a big homebody, I spend most of my days off working on crafts, enjoying friends, being in the garden and creating meals.
I love to bake but I am lactose intolerant.
Luckily I can get away with eating a little bit of the good stuff.
My favorite meals are always loaded with veggies. I have always been a big fan of brussels sprouts and broccoli. Some days I just eat brown rice and a pile of sauteed veggies for dinner.
We have some sort of curry at least once a week, usually more.
I like sweets but I usually only crave them in the evening. My breakfast is quite often the left overs from dinner..mmm curry.
I gave up coffee for 10 months for no reason other then I felt like it. However I woke up one morning, decided I wanted coffee again and now I can't seem to get enough of it.
I can't really think of any kind of food I don't like.
