"Thanks so much for this recipe! I've been craving Japanese beef ribs for ages now but I can't have soy due to a recent allergy development . I used coconut aminos from my local health food store as it is a great substitute for soy sauce and sunflower seed butter in place of the peanut butter and it turned out marvelous! Thanks again!"

"I used ground flax in place of the egg and a bit more worcestershire and BBQ sauce and these were really good. Also, I heated the pan then added the oil to it instead of in the mix. If you find this hard to handle just wet your hands when you form the burger, it doesn't hurt the mix at all."

"Wow!! These were absolutely wonderful, but I had to change it up a bit by using non-dairy chocolate chips and peppermint candy flavoring, as our household has allergies. "Boiled my potatoes in a tall pot with a make shift steam basket ( mesh strainer on the top to steam the fish (sole then mashed them together. I also added old bay seasoning , lemon zest, 2 large onions grated with the juice squeezed out, parsley and a bit more salt. My family devoured them. Thanks for such a good base recipe.
