Reviewed Quinoa Muffins
"For a recipe using quinoa, this is very good. My husband and I both like it. When I simmered the quinoa until it was dry, I did not sample it to see if it was completely cooked. They were a little crunchy biting into them, but that was my fault. Next time I will make sure they are completely cooked and tender before adding them to the mix. Tha..."

Reviewed Southwestern Corn Cakes
"I was going to post this recipe until I found that you already had. I got my recipe from The American Country Inn and Bed and Breakfast Cookbook. It makes a large batch for just the 2 of us, so we had it as a side dish 2 nights in a row. I did not use the garnishes, and it was still good. Thanks for posting the recipe."

Shared Recipe Beet Salad
"I am not a big fan of beets, but know they're good for you so I do eat them. I came across the recipe below in The American Bed and Breakfast Cookbook, submitted by the Hallcrest Inn, Inc. in North Carolina. I'm listing the recipe as it is in the book, but I changed it for us. I added a little sugar to mine as well as the changes listed below. I..."

Reviewed Bottle of Pop Pork Chops
"I have tried this same recipe from Aunt Bee's Mayberry Cookbook. It is very good. The recipe in the book was submitted by Melissa Gray of Tennessee. The sauce (gravy) is good on mashed potatoes, rice or noodles. Thanks for sharing this recipe."

Shared Recipe Pork and Pecan Pasta
"This is from the Town and Country Cooking put out by WALB-TV in 1996. I have tried it once and wrote in the book that it was good. The first 8 ingredients are for the marinade for the pork. When I make this again, instead of using Tabasco I plan to use chili sauce. I think it was submitted by the Department of Agriculture in Atlanta. I did not ..."

New Topic Duplicate Recipes in Customer Support
"I have a recipe that I would like to submit. When I checked to see if there was one for "Pork and Pecan Pasta", the site listed over 4,000 recipes. How can I check without having to go through all the recipes to make sure there is no duplicate? Thanks."

Shared Recipe Chicken Breasts With Artichoke Cheese Stuffing
"From All American Brand Name Recipes. Make sure you cover and refrigerate coated chicken for about one hour before proceeding with the rest of the recipe. I also think the stuffing would be great heated on a hard bread such as Melba or just as a spread without baking. I also used a combination of Monterey Jack and Italian Cheese because I did no..."

I wish to thank everyone who has reviewed and tried my recipes. I appreciate any helpful hints provided. I live in the Southwestern High Plains of Colorado. I have been collecting recipes since 1965. In 1987 I started going through my many books and clippings and making weekly menus. If I like the new recipes I try, I enter them in my own cookbook.

I love salads, Mexican food, and Italian. I love to try appetizers.

"I've been going through my old cookbooks and found this had not been included in my personal cookbook. I think it's different than most taco salads in that it uses a creamed Velveeta cheese and tomatoes with chilies as the dressing instead of the typical French Dressing. Of course, I used Ro-Tel with the cheese and had some left over as a dip for..."
