    "I tasted this at home and worried about the garlic. I added optional garlic and used seasoning salt, and I tasted them and thought maybe too overbearing (very critical of food I take to gatherings).     Reviewed Kittencal's Sausage Sawmill Gravy (With Biscuits)

    "Made it with jimmy dean hot sausage and a little extra black pepper, it was a hit. Made biscuits that were "ok" and it didn't matter, the gravy was awesome! Thanks again, dinner tonight a hit! A special meal, not a once a week kind of thing. Used 1% milk and I can't imagine what it's like with a more rich milk base. Very rich and tasty!"

    "Tangy, sweet, used 1/2 total for sugar (1/4 c splenda 1/4 c sugar), apple cider vinegar, added pepper. Great, mixed this am to take to picnic, used two small heads cabbage from farmers market.     About Me

    I am a working mom, with stay at home mom aspirations/dreams. I spent way too long going to school, so it probably will never happen. So, I will continue to use my days off cooking happily away for my family and playing around in the garden. I hope to add chickens to our little homestead and focus on exposing our 3 and 4 year olds to lots of different foods! My husband never complains about what I make, although I try to stick somewhat close to stuff I know he will eat. I love food the zaar, Alton Brown, and Americas Test Kitchen Family cookbook (great basic recipes).
