"Must have done something very wrong - tried twice and all I got was an orange lump in the bowl, which would not coat anything. Possibly what you call rice flour in the USA is not what we call rice flour here in Australia. After reading all the rave reviews, I think the mistake is mine!!"
"Oh yummy, very yummy! I prepared this recipe as listed with the exception of the red wine vinegar - didn't have any, so substituted balsamic. I made this sauce to go with Liver & Onion Tart (237782), where a Cumberland Sauce was recommended as an accompaniment, and it worked really well. I now have a jar of this sauce in the fridge all the time..."
"Had some pig's liver and was looking for something different, and I found this recipe, and off I went! I soaked the liver in milk for 24 hours before cooking, and coated in flour, salt and pepper. I added garlic in with the onions, and topped the whole thing with grated cheese before baking. Very happy with the result, which was also very nice ea..."
"Terrific! I made a double batch, as I had 8 egg yolks left from a pavlova. Tested the bread hooks on my new mixer, and happy on all counts. This is a lovely bread, very tasty and a great texture. I made one in a loaf pan and the other in a bundt pan - very pretty and effective. I substituted olive oil for canola, and oat milk for skim milk, a..."
"Yummy and very easy! I was looking for something to do with all these cheap fresh tomatoes I had, and tried this recipe. I roasted the tomatoes in the oven at the same time as the garlic, then peeled and chopped them into the soup.Have made lots of it and frozen it for future use. It is very tasty and I am going to try it chilled as well as h..."
"Great result! I followed the recipe to the letter, and the candied orange peel worked very well. I chocolate coated one end, and when that was cold, coated the other end with vanilla sugar. I used the peel to decorate a lovely chocolate mousse, which I made with Chilli Chocolate. I shall be making this again!!"
"Lovely! Very creamy mayonnaise. I substituted Spanish onion for the green onion and apple cider vinegar for the lemon juice and it all worked very well. As a cooking-loving grandmother, this is the first time I have attempted mayonnaise, and I am very proud of myself!"
"Wow! What an unusual experience, and one we will readily repeat! I made fish stock with prawn shells and fish wings, and used this instead of the water recommended. I used mahi mahi and scallops in the recipe. We took the lemon slices out during cooking, as the flavour was over-powering everything else. All in all, a very pleasant and enj..."
"Wonderful recipe, thank you! Like an earlier reviewer, I found the cheesecake a little too soft, so will reduce the liquid next time. It was a very popular dessert, with a wonderful flavour. Can't taste the Guinness specifically, just a very deep chocolate flavour. I have just realised I did not read the receipr properly, and put the crumbs al..."
"Absolutely gorgeous dish! I cooked this in the slow cooker/crockpot on high for 8 hours - the beans take a lot of time when you put them in raw!! I added a litre of stock to compensate for the uncooked beans, and all the liquid was absorbed by the time it was all cooked. Will definitely come into my list of favourites!!"
