"Delicious! My mom used to make this and we loved it! I tried this recipe and it was...well, just like Moms. I know why she didn't make it more often ~ we'd have each weighed about 400bls! Anyway, my one correction is that if you pre-heat the oven before you proof the yeast, it will be on for about 1.5 hours or more before you actually need it. Pre..."

"Really yummy! I would have made this as advised in the recipe, but didn't have spinach. I did have some green chile that needed to be used, so I used that instead. YUM! Thanks for sharing!"

"Super Yummy, super fun to make w/ my son! We actually put lots of fillings in ours ~ tonight it was leftover chicken and roasted veggies w/ cheese. And cheese, green onions, and bacon. Great way to use up bits of leftovers, and they go great in the kid's lunchboxes too. Also ~ they can be reheated in the toaster!"

"Wonderful! I loved this variation on the standard beer bread recipe. I love the simplicity of beer bread, but most recipes are just too sweet. This bread is savory and delicious. This bread will be made often in my house!"

"I had some pork chops that I needed to use, so I used them instead of the skirt steak. Also, I didn't have smoky paprika, so I used chipotle powder. And no blue cheese... so I used Feta. Still amazing ~ my family absolutely loved it, and are now fighting over who gets to eat the leftovers for lunch."
