Added Recipe Photo to Quick Crustless Pear Tart
I am a big sweets lover!!! I can eat a pound of meat, but if I am not going to eat some dessert after that-I am still hungry :)
Since I can't sacrifice my dessert I would not drink any soda, sweet tea, neither eat chips or white bread.
What do I like to eat for dessert? I love cakes with lots of nuts in it and light cream between layers and no frosting...maybe only chocolate glaze on top. Actually, my sweets preferences are a little different from people in the US. Cakes are too sweet for me here, so for a long time I tried to baked something from my native cousin. But my husband wasn't impressed since he likes his dessert to be very-very sweet. So I was experimenting with my old recipes and also took advise of my hubby to go to this web site. Finally, I did made my husband happy after I baked lemon bars!!! My first dessert from this site. Sweet enough for Him and tart enough for Me.
I also like healthy salads, adores soups (it is a big tradition in Ukraine) and juicy meat stew.
I am not a snob, so I have my favorites among food in the US as well: pork ribs made by my husband (SO yummy), corn beef, pecan pie and pot pie, tuna casserole made by my Mama-in-law and green beans casserole made by my Sis-in-law.
There are also some place in my heart for Japanese cousin, mild spicy Mexican and Indian food.
