    "LOVED the soup BUT, it took more like 20 minutes for the onions to absorb the wine, and when I added the beef broth, I decided that one quart was plenty. If I used two quarts, then I would have doubled the onions. After all, it is ONION soup, not broth soup. I simmered it for 30 minutes instead of 10 so that the flavors could blend more. Inste""

    I share my world with a wonderful husband, 3 cats and one crazy Beagle puppy. 

    I LOVE cooking and gardening. I have way too many cookbooks to pick a favorite and I enjoy finding classic cookbooks at flea markets.

    Favorite Foods

    Mango is my favorite fruit and you MUST try a Mango that comes from India - definitely better than those from South America.

    Asparagus is my favorite vegetable - simply grilled with a bit of lemon and salt.  Runner up is Broccoli!

    My favorite meal would be a Ribeye Steak grilled to perfection with a Blue Cheese butter sauce, a loaded sweet potato and a medley of steamed veggies!

    John's Pizza located in Manhattan NY is just the best in the world!
