Shared Recipe Kohlrabi Salad in Fennel Seed Dressing

Born and raised in New York, I have an atypical lineage to Central Asia traveling along the Silk Route.I was fortunate enough to travel extensively through out my childhood into my early twenties across the globe. Exposed to diverse cultures from infancy has morphed me into an eclectic woman, which in part reveals itself through my multi cultural fusion of dishes that is a unique collage of vegetarian spiced food and flavor.
Due to my own health issues about 20 years ago, I had to modify my diet by eliminating wheat, dairy and sugar. So the dishes I have cooked and post, all take into consideration the foodies that have special diets, like Vegan, Gluten Free, Wheat Free and Dairy Free. In addition, next to each recipe I have included a tag for which diet the recipe caters to.

I love Indian food because it’s inexpensive and relatively simple to prepare, but more importantly, it never fails to light up my eyes, nose and tastebuds with its piquant flavor..."
