"Tasty! I'm a dope and I thought "spins small thread" meant the sugar would make a thread right as it dripped off the spoon . I didn't realize it referred to dripping the sugar into cold water, so I way overcooked it. But it still turned out very tasty. I made it for a salad, but we are already snacking on it."

"Wow! This pesto is awesome. I used 2.5 packed cups of basil from the garden and I omitted the butter. I chopped everything up before I ran it through the blender. It was like a thick, firm paste, which I was not familiar with from my experience with storebought pesto. I tossed it with hot wholewheat spaghetti and threw in some steamed broccoli. I..."

"Adjusted this to 2 servings and used a bit less sugar and a bit less water. It was easily more tasty than the blackberry cobbler I made the night before. My husband said it was "WAY better than the cobbler". It'd probably be great with peaches and apricots too."

"I adjusted this recipe for two sservings. I had to further adjust the levels of baking powder and butter after the conversion because they were a little overweighted according to my calculator. I also used less sugar per my tastes (im not used to processed snax, so i really taste the sugar in things. I mixed 3/4 of the sugar into the berries and ..."

"This was quite good - I used half the sugar, subbed black pepper for white, omitted the cayenne and used a bit of milk instead of buttermilk. I used stilton as the blue cheese and it had a nice punch."

"I have made this several times and it is very good. I use frozen cod and it turns out very good. I used to grill the fish on the BBQ, but in the winter, this is an excellent option and quite tasty. I use ground black pepper and paprika, so dont worry about not having the white pepper."
