    "My godmother is from the Cape Verde Islands. We lost touch over the years and the recipe for jag was never written down. Thanks for posting. I love a one pot meal and this is great. I used kidney beans instead of limas, and my own mother uses whole green beans. No matter, it still tastes great ."
