"This recipe is a disaster! Though taste is fine, it calls for way too much butter. Grease pooled on top of the candy, and I had to use a paper towel to soak up and absorb all the excess grease. "I made this jam with disastrous results! It was too sweet and had a grainy texture. I will try it again making these changes: will use 3 cups of sugar (not 4 and will use 1 pkg. of Jell-O (not 2. Also will boil it for less time and will add Jell-O before it is done cooking so Jell-O is more thoroughly dissolved."

"Country-Wife, thank you for sharing this delicious custard recipe which is so quick and easy to prepare. I, too, found it to be very runny after baking it at 325 degrees for 30 minutes.
