New Topic Small Message box when sending messages. in Customer Support
"In the last three messages I've sent I've noticed that the message box is only one line tall. About a week ago it was small but there was a small arrow on the bottom right side that would allow the message box to be expanded. The last two messages I'v sent do not have this option. Its a little bothersome when you can only see one line of your messa..."

Reviewed Huguenot Torte
"The taste of this recipe is very old worldly and very good. The only problem that I have with it is the height of the finished product. It is very thin and really couldn't stand alone as a dessert. It is more like a lightly moist topping. I'm going to try it one more time in a 8X8 or 9X9 pan and see if that helps."

Reviewed Bahamian Papaya Rum Cake
"Well this is a really a good cake! I must admit that I've never mixed a cake batter like this one, adding eggs directly to the dry ingredients, but it works very well. The next time I make it I will decrease the sugar some as it is a little too sweet for me and reduce the amount of brown sugar in the topping. The cake looked beautiful when I turned..."

Reviewed Beef Tamales
"I'm sorry but being from Texas and having eaten my share of tamales, I found these to be visually unappealing ( sort of a light brown color ) as well as extremely dry. I gave this recipe 2 stars because the taste wasn't too bad. The cumin came out very well."

Reviewed French Dip Roast Beef for the Crock Pot
"I made this for my VFW this weekend and after sneaking a few bites, as I was shredding the meat, I decided that I had 1/2 of a brisket in the freezer so I made a batch for myself. This is a really good recipe. I added some dried onion as I do love onion in my dipping sauce but otherwise I let the meat and dip speak for themselves. Good Recipe!!!"

Reviewed Orange Crunch Cake from the Bubble Room
"Baked this for Thanksgiving and it was a hit! I really liked the bright citrus flavor and the texture the crunch layer gave the cake. I brought the orange flavor out even by adding homemade orange powder to the cake mix and to the topping. This will go into my Go To list for cakes. This is a winner and if there were more starts to give, I would giv..."

Reviewed Chacha's Arroz Con Leche: Cuban Rice Pudding
"Today is the third time that I've made this recipe. I make enough for 50 servings. The Bingo Ladies at my VFW request it at least twice a year since I first made it. It is definitely a big hit. Looks like I'll be making it for a long time. Great recipe!!"

4th generation Texan.Moved to PA about 30 years ago and love it here. I live in the beautiful Delaware Valley and my back yard backs up to the Delaware Canal.(saves on mowing the grass)Love to salt water fish. Am out on the Atlantic most weekends. I belong to two salt water fishing clubs. I enjoy Barbecue contests and chili cookoffs. Am a Vietnam vet. ( 67-68 ) and am a life member of the John Billington VFW in Levittown, PA.
I will eat almost anything. Will try eating anything one time. BBQ is my favorite item to cook. I create my own BBQ sauces and rubs.Currently have 2 smokers and 2 grills. Being from Texas and having lived in the South most of my younger life Southern,Cajun and Tex-Mex are my favorite foods. I really love anything English or Irish to eat. Pub food is one of my weaknesses, along with Guinness.
