"Loved this soup I think it is the exact replica of the Olive Gardens'. I was a little hesitant to use pepper flakes in addition to the hot Italian sausage, but found it was a definite must to achive the right flavor. Served with facassia toasted and topped with Parm. Thanks."

"This is the best snacking salsa ever. I say snacking because we just about finished a quart jar in two days. My husband thinks it is a little sweet and not quite hot enough even after I added 8 jalapino's to it. Next time I will just chop jalapinos without deveining and seeding them. "Wonderful! Didn't have Calvados so used regular Brandy and it was still excellent so I can't wait to try the real thing. Used 1/2 bag of cabbage slaw, one large onion and 1 apple since that is all I had. I too use Essence regularly, which gives the kick in flavor you need in this recipe. Hubby always rates new recipes if they are company worth..."
