I have no recent activity to share.

    About Me

I live in southwest Florida with my husband, two teenaged sons, and 6 cats, where we enjoy eating my home baked bread, which I make when I'm not at work (I'm a librarian) or knitting or reading. I started cooking when I was 7, making brownies from the Betty Crocker Boys & Girls Cookbook...my favorite cookbook is the 1950 Betty Crocker original edition that my mother passed down to me. Probably because I messed up all the pages in the cakes section with batter... Nowadays I rely heavily on the America's Test Kitchen/Cook's Illustrated recipes both in books and online.

    Favorite Foods

Home baked bread! I have some notoriety among my friends for my vegetable lasagna. I like making all kinds of one-pot dinners, usually without any recipes.
