    Reviewed Tub and Shower Magic

"Forgot to mention: you can wax (clear Carnauba wax) your tub, sinks etc. - just don;t do the floor of the tub! This will keep soap from accumulating on the walls of your shower and tub. I did my bathroom sink and it is working great, water/soap just beads up and runs off into the drain."

    Reviewed Tub and Shower Magic

"Haven;t used this duo yet, but tried some Dawn on my acrylic tub surround recently and it worked better than commercial cleaners. I will definitely try it with the vinegar. I have used both, but separately. Guess it;s time to combine them!

New Topic Question:Crock Pot Baked Beans Bananza in Cooking Q & A

    "Crock Pot Baked Beans Bananza

Does this really need to cook that long? The beans are cooked before you add them, so could you cook the sauce ingredients first to blend, add the beans & then cook for less time? If you put them in the refrigerator overnight, I would thi..."

Reviewed Sabrett's Onion Sauce for Hot Dogs

"I have made this sauce for 25 years (with some changes) for a vendor. It should take no more than 30 minutes, start to finish for the whole thing. There is WAY too much water, which is why you're cooking it so long - to evaporate the water. You should have no more than 1 or 1 1/4 cup total of water and the other ingredients if you're using a lar..."

Reviewed The Simplest Tomato Sauce Ever (Marcella Hazan)

"I just made this this morning and had it over ravioli. I used a can of Cento San Marzano tomatoes (label said product of Italy).
This was not fabulous, OK but not outstanding. I think when using canned tomatoes, even San Marzano, the butter should be increased. The tinny tomato taste was there and it was acidic. But I now realize why the ow..."

New Topic Wonder Food Bakery, SF, Ca in Recipe Requests - General

"This bakery on Waverly Place in San Francisco, used to make a spicy beef baked bun (like the Chinese BBQ pork steamed buns, but baked instead).
They were so good and I haven't had one this good since - and I've been gone for 20 years..
So if anyone from SF knows the recipe for this, please give it up! I know it can't be too involved, but their s..."
