"This is the same recipe that I use, but mine is out of the Taste of Home cookbook, and is cooked on the stove. My version you saute the onion garlic, lentils, in a little bit of oil. Then you add the broth and simmer for about 30 min."

"This was a very good recipe. I thought it tasted to much like cream cheese and not very much like par. cheese. It did turn out well thought, and was very easy to make. I am going to try and make it again with a few little subs. and more par. cheese. I doubled it for 4 adults and 2 toddlers and I have enough left over to feed all of us another me..."

"WONDERFUL, I just bought 1 plantain because we had never had them before. I followed the recipe exactly with the exception of cutting it into coins, and after I added the sugar I turned the fire off and let it sit until we were done with dinner. We will make again with more plantains."

"A-1 Rings. My family loved these, they have a slight reminder of the blooming onion from Chili's. I used 1/2 of the chili powder, and paprika instead of cayenne, and 1/2 of the cumin since I was going to be feeding my 4 & 2 yo kids. They loved them. It would be great with ranch as a dip. I did the last batch as double dipped (egg, flour, egg, ..."

"this was great! I used it in some coffee, and some milk for the kids. I liked the not so sweet taste of it, My dh said it tasted like chocolate, not something fake. I will use a much larger pan then I did this time, as it wanted to boil over all the time. I also will let it cook longer so it will be thicker. Both are my fault and not that of the..."

"I followed just as written with the exception of guessing on the amount of powdered sugar I used 1/2 of a 2 lbs bag. and I used shortning since I only had frozen butter on hand. It melted after a little while of play, and the taste wasn't all that great. But it was great for a 2 yo that likes to eat everything that she plays with. It was real..."

My husband didn't realize it wasn't all cheese. I used whole milk and a little dollap of sour cream. It was a huge hit with my 2 and 4 year old."
