    Reviewed Tilapia Marinade

"I made this for my daughter, who doesn't eat red meat, on a night the rest of the family was having beef tenderloin. It was excellent! I will definitely make this again . . . I think it would also be good for chicken or pork or other light fish. I chose the balsamic rather than the red wine vinegar, although I think both would be good, depending..."

    Reviewed Lobster Base

"This was really good. I was making lobster bisque, which called for lobster base. I boiled 4 tail shells in about 3/4 of the water recommended for 1 hour. Did everything else as written in the recipe. Turned out great!"

Reviewed 30 Minute Chicken Noodle Soup (From Foodtv, Rachael Ray)

"This was really yummy. I made it exactly as written except that I doubled the recipe. I think next time I won't double the noodles - I love noodles, but there were too many of them. The dill and the parsnips gave it an interesting, different flavor."

Reviewed Kittencal's Baked Jumbo Lemon-Garlic Parmesan Shrimp

"Sorry, but I wasn't thrilled with these. The butter congealed during the 20 minute wait time, and I had to reheat it to get the breading to stick, which caused the shrimp to start cooking before they went into the oven. The breading was way too much for the amount of shrimp - I ended up dumping a lot down the disposal. I expected the breading to..."

Reviewed Minnesota Cream of Chicken & Wild Rice Soup

"This was really good. I used fat free half and half, and added some parsley and some mushrooms. Other than that, made it exactly as written."

Reviewed Jalapeno Macaroni & Cheese Casserole

"I thought it was a little bland . . . despite the kick from the pepper, it was missing something. Not sure what - salt? I didn't add any - maybe I should have. I used poblanos because the jalapenos in my store looked a little "tired," and dried minced onions because I was out of onions. I also thought the sauce was a bit thick - might use 3 T f..."

    Reviewed Veggie/Vegetable Dip

"This was very good . . . I made it with lowfat mayo and fat free sour cream, and added about a tablespoon of prepared horseradish. Served with veggies and pita chips. Every bit was eaten!"

Reviewed Grilled Chicken With Mango Habanero Glaze

"I used a whole habanero, about the size of a small plum. My daughter & I thought it had just the right amount of spice . . . my son (who loves hot food) thought it wasn't spicy at all. This glaze would be good on pork chops."
