"I'm afraid we didn't much care for this. It smelled good, but was very bland. I added salt, pepper, garlic and a whole onion, but it still didn't taste like much. With the curry and garam masala, I'm not sure what to add to zip it up. We probably won't make this again."

"We really enjoyed this. I made it veggie, using spinach, onion, red and green peppers, and veggie meat crumbles. Mine took quite a bit longer to cook, about 75 minutes. The crust didn't quite work, it was a little gooey, but overall it's a great recipe. I'll be making more for the freezer!"

"My husband told me several times that I should put this recipe where I can find it again. From him, that's 10 stars!! I had leftover crepes from an event, and went searching for something savory to fill them. We love Thai flavors, and I had everything on hand to make this recipe. I didn't know what a small squash is, but I used about 2 cups of..."

"These worked out well. I had to use the oatmeal, as I was out of bread crumbs. I cooked them in the oven, about 10 minutes @ 400. They held together well, and I'm anxious to see how they freeze."

"We've enjoyed this twice now. I made a couple of small changes; I used tomatoes with chopped green chilis and left out the red pepper flakes. I also sauteed onion, mushrooms and garlic in olive oil before adding the other ingredients. I used frozen spinach, as that is what I had on hand. I didn't bother to thaw or drain it, since there is wat..."

"Oh my gosh, how much easier can it be? I wanted to make this vegetarian, so I used TVP instead of ground meat. And it would have been fine without either. I also used canned spaghetti sauce instead of marinara. About 10 minutes into the cooking, I added in diced zucchini, mushrooms, onions, red bell pepper and some frozen spinach. It took a bi..."

"The end result of this tasted good, but I had some problems with it. It took considerably longer to cook, because I used brown lentils (the recipe didn't specify. That is OK, I know they take longer. Also, I think 6 oz of kale is entirely too much. I have never cooked with kale before, so I thought this sounded like something we would like. ..."

"I recently came into possession of a rice cooker, and this was the first thing I tried. I had no idea how it worked, so I just poured and hoped! It came out perfect! I didn't have Rotel, so I used bottled salsa instead. I also forgot the cheese at the end, but added chopped cilantro to the plates. Great first exposure to the rice cooker!"

"This was a nice, hearty meal for a chilly weekend. I tried using Cookgirl's crock pot modification, which didn't exactly work. I only had green/hearty lentils on hand, which take longer to cook, so I cooked them a few extra minutes at the start. Put it all in the crock and let it go for about 8 hours on low. The lentils were still crunchy, so ..."

"This was a nice way to use tofu. I made it per the recipe, except I completely forgot the peanuts. We thought it was a little bland, in the future I will probably add some garlic and maybe a shake of red pepper flakes. When I mixed up the sauce, I was afraid that it tasted a little heavy on the coconut, but it mellowed nicely when all mixed tog..."
