    Reviewed Baked Pumpkin Donuts

     |  By Chef #680989

"These were very tasty, but not exactly like donuts, hence the 4 star rating. But on flavor they were a 5! I used half whole wheat and half white flours, and I used a baggie and snipped the corner off to make the donuts. Fairly quick and easy and much healthier than the alternative. My children loved them and I ended up having to make a second ..."

"Delicious rolls! These were more like biscuits, but with wonderful texture and flavor and did not fall apart like my biscuit recipes. I will definitely be making these again. I used leftover mashed potatoes from dinner, doubled the recipe, and used 2 cups whole wheat and 1 cup unbleached white flour. Thanks for a great recipe!"

"We had these for dinner tonight. They were delicious and easy! My 8 year old son raved that it was the "best hamburger he's ever had." I used half whole wheat and half all purpose flour and used 1/4 cup of oil. I'm so glad that I can have hamburgers and hot dogs anytime I want to now without having to run to the store!"

     |  By Bayhill

"I and my three children really liked this bread and plan to continue making it! I used all whole wheat flour and added some gluten. I also chose dough setting and shaped, rose and baked the loaf myself since I don't like the way my machine does it. I also used regular mashed potatoes-about 1 cup, so I decreased the water and increased the flour..."
