I'm a twenty-something who is looking to perfect her newfound cooking talents and try a bunch of new recipes. You can only cook the same meals that your mother did with little variation for so long - not that I'm going to stop making them anytime soon...they ARE really good.

I prefer savory to sweet. I'd eat a rare piece of steak and a baked potato over a piece of cake with ice cream any day of the week.
Favorites include: any and all Italian cuisine. Stuff I grew up on mostly. In that regard, anything my mother makes is my favorite, but I suppose everyone can say that to some degree. I also like seafood.
