    About Me

    I love to try new recipes. However I am a diabetic and have other stomach issues. So I have to be extremely picky as to what I eat. I used to use lots of veggies but can no longer use them as they are hard on my stomach, cooked carrots are about the only one I can have now. I like to make up my own recipes. However when I do this I am really bad about measuring so it never turns out the same way twice. So food is an adventure for my hubby and I. We like to try other countries cuisine, but most recipes make too much so if we don't like it it goes to waste. With my health problems I do alot of crook pot cooking and leftover reinventions, I hate to waste anything. Roast beef fajitas, botched waffle recipe into yummy muffins things like that.

    Favorite Foods

    My newest favorite food is spicy pickled carrots but I just can't find the right recipe to get the taste I want so I buy them from a little resturant called Los Betos.  Wish I could find a recipe for them.

    I love to try locally owned resturants but don't go out much as its not economical.  I just can't justify paying a bunch of money for a dish I can make for a fraction of the cost at home and usually its healthier.

    Believe it or not I am known among family for my meatloaf of all things.  Also for my stirfrys my brother told me that they were resturants quality, which makes me giggle cause I never make it the same way twice.
