Reviewed Crock Pot Cheesy Creamed Corn

"I found this recipe in a cookbook about three years ago. I've made it every year since for Thanksgiving.

The key, though, is to use frozen SWEET corn. You will not get the same results if you use regular frozen corn."

    Reviewed Delicious Chicken Pot Pie

"I've made this at least a half dozen times in the last year. Everyone loves it. I boil (poach?) the chicken in water with half an onion, bay leaf, salt, pepper and poultry seasoning. I shred the chicken after it's cooked and season it with a bit more salt, pepper, poultry seasoning, garlic and onion powders."

    About Me

I want to thank everyone who has made a recipe I've posted. I know your time is valuable, and it's a leap of faith to try a recipe that has zero or very few reviews. I really do appreciate it.

I'm addicted to cookbooks. I love buying them, I love borrowing them from the library, I love receiving them as presents.

I love to cook (hate the messy dishes, however), but I don't cook very often. I'm mostly a weekend cook.

I'm a library assistant at an elementary school. I'm a big fan of children's literature.

I'm single and I don't have children, but I do have kitten babies that I adore like nothing else in this world.

    Favorite Foods

I love Mexican, Indian, Thai, and Lebanese food. I love to eat, and I enjoy trying new restaurants, especially ethnic.

My favorite foods are posole, curries, kibbeh, a good hamburger with fries that are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I also love anything my mom makes. She's a great cook.

My favorite restaurants are Maharajah, Cafe Chadra, Pei Wei and La Gladiola-all located in Fort Worth. I'm currently looking for really great Chinese and Thai restaurants.
