    About Me

    I really like to garden, but I'm more of a planter then a picker. I think its because I'm a mediocre cook. My resolution this year is to cook and preserve as much as I can from my garden. I'm hoping this site can help me do that. Hopefully when I'm up to my ears in summer squash this year I'll have tons of recipes to help me eat them.

    Favorite Foods

    I'm a vegetarian and my husband is vegan, so we tend to keep a vegan kitchen. If I cook for myself I sometimes use dairy, but I try to use free range. I really like goat dairy products. I like whole grains, and crunchy hippy food like temph, and miso. I tend to eat a lot of organic junk food. I'm a big fan of my crock pot and like to eat slow cooked foods. I really like Indian cooking. I tried to keep to an Aryvidic diet once, but it was too much work. I made some good food though.
