"I made the bread for Thanksgiving and it was well loved. I had several people ask for the recipe. I made it without the walnuts, I added a 1/2 tsp of nutmeg, I cut all the seasonings to 1/2 tsp, and cut the salt in half. I made 5 mini-loaves instead of two large loaves. They finished cooking around 60 min. Thank You for this recipe it is wonderful..."

"Mine came out rather watery, but the flavor is wonderful. I used it with a coffee cake recipe. I added lemon and vanilla to the batter and drizzled the apple spread over the top. When in baked the apple sunk down into the cake. Thank You for this recipe."
