    About Me

I live in Northern Jerusalem, on the edge of the Judean Desert. I have a beautiful garden where I grow fruits and vegetables. Gardening and cooking are my favorite creative pursuits. I work from home as a translator and writer.

    Favorite Foods

In general I make plain, tasty food, just like my Hungarian grandma taught me. But on Shabbos I like to splash out and make stuff that looks fancy. Presentation is key.
On the other hand, I like raw food a lot. "Every vegetable has its own sweetness," said my husband's rabbi the other day, as we sat at his table munching a pieces of raw kohlrabi. So true.
Food is a beautiful way for us to share with our fellow men, and connect to our Creator - when we appreciate the incredible wonder of taste and the miracle of nutrition.
