"My mom and I , and rest of family have made corn chowder exactly the same way for years, some reviewers thought this should be spicier, I myself always thought corn chowder should be a rather sweet tasting dish (to bring out the natural sweetness of the corn this is the perfect recipe for my husband and self. We usually have corn bread with this,..."

"I have made this recipe 3 times in last month. Only thing i do different is add a little paprika to spices, and toss chicken pieces in a mix of olive oil and butter, using mostly olive oil. I usually do not care for bone in chicken, but this is amazing. so juicy. and flavorful. I have had rice with this, i have had corn-on -cob and macaroni salad ..."

"Yes, I have always made my pork chops this way, they are very moist. The only thing I do different is leave out oregano, add garlic and paprika to bread crumbs, and though I know it is not for everyone, we like a little hot sauce mixed in with the mayo. Very good."

"I made this last night, and is getting 4 stars rather than 5 because I added things against the advice of the chef. I added garlic salt, basil and oregano. I also had made meatballs earlier in the day. I simmered these in the sauce for last 20 minutes. I used 1 can diced tomatoes and 1 can whole plum tomatos. I will be making this again to have wi..."

"OMG! I finally found the recipe/technique my mom used for her most flavorful dish. mom was a very plain, salt and pepper for seasoning type cook, but could she ever fry fish. I doubt she used the dry mustard ( thats a seasoning afterall, mom was a plain and simple cook, at her best gotta love her though, but this is the closest she did with cod. ..."
