"This is the way that I've always made frosting, but always guessed at the proportions so it didn't always turn out the same. I only used 2 c. of confectioner's sugar and then the 1/2 c. of cocoa, so it was probably somewhere between the med. and dark, but it was excellent! Had plenty to frost a 9x13 cake...though it can never be thick enough for..."

"Awesome! This was a hit with the WHOLE family...something that doesn't happen very often. So quick and flavorful...win, win, win!! I had some tomatoes from the garden that I wanted to use, so peeled and drained them. But this will be a go-to recipe even when I have to purchase canned tomatoes. I just love easy, easy meals!! Thanks so much fo..."

"This is a perfect base recipe! I had to use cardamom seeds as opposed to pods so I guessed at how many and used 16 (I looked online and saw that a pod can have 8-12 seeds. I love cardamom and that was a good amount for me. I think next time I will increase the ginger and/or pepper since a like a little more bite. I also used 4 tea bags in pla..."

"I just realized that I haven't reviewed this after using it for months! It's better than any bottled unless you buy the expensive refrigerated kind! I have kept one of my jars from that to put my homemade in and make 1 1/2 recipes of it and it fits great. I never have buttermilk on hand, but always have sour cream so I substitute that exactly and ..."

"Awesome! I used hot Italian sausage, so skipped the opt. fennel and red pepper flakes (if you're using ground beef I would definitely use these for flavor!. I also used crushed tomatoes instead of the sauce since I had it on hand. I coarsely chopped some fresh spinach as opposed to the frozen. The wine was a wonderful addition that I wouldn't..."

"Perfection! I've been watching my sugar intake and made this with a dash of stevia powder instead of sugar. Also added just a dash of cayenne. Yippee...I can enjoy a burger again!! (I made 1/4 of the recipe and had 1 1/4 c. or 20T of ketchup. I figured .75g sugar and 1.5g carb for each T when making it this way"
