    Reviewed Olive Garden Alfredo Sauce

     |  By Jeremiah Comer

"This is my new "go to" recipe for alfredo sauce. SO good. So not good for you: I didn't have the full 2 quarts of cream, so I ended up with the recipe being about 1/2 milk and 1/2 cream. Also, I had to replace with Parmesan cheese instead of the Fontina. It still came out delicious. This makes a lot of sauce too."

"Made with red, ripe tomatoes and they were delicious. Didn't have any goat cheese on hand, so used feta and it was still yummy. Was also out of bread crumbs and used Panko instead - think it was great. Used a bit more of the Panko and Italian seasoning. Would be great served aside a juicy steak and a great mesclun salad. Thanks. BTW I now ca..."

"This is fantastic! I was looking for an easy method for cooking rice. Daughter is going to college and she won't have a rice cooker like mom: What a great method. I was afraid it would leave the microwave a mess, but it didn't. Yay!
    Much thanks."

"Hubby really liked it. I made it almost a pantry recipe with some minor adjustments, but it was pretty close to what you had.

Used a pint of home-canned chicken and the broth, a can of mushrooms and the liquid. Did not add a can of broth. Everything else was as written. Served over rice and peas.

    Easy to throw together. ..."

"Really yummy comfort food. I was short on potatoes, and added some dehydrated sliced potatoes and it still came out great. Instead of topping with fried eggs, I just poured the mixture into a 9x13 pan and made little wells for 4 eggs. Then I placed it in the oven just until the eggs were done, topped with a little cheese and returned to the ove..."
