"a great pie, easy to make. Reminds me of pumpkin pie with the texture a little chunkier, but great with whipped cream, cold or warm! A nice change from banana bread. "Used jarred bacon pieces to save time and did part of James Beard's Favorite Hamburger Recipe: added 1 T. heavy cream, and grated vidalia onion over the beef and mixed together with the rest of ingredients. Also used 2# grd beef. Awesome!!"
