"simply delicious version of coquilles st jacques. my scallops were quite large so i sliced them across the centers.i sauteed them in a mix of olive oil and butter and added them to small au gratin dishes which i placed under the broiler to brown. this was excellent and i highly recommend this dish."

"this was a tasty side dish although the cooking time was longer for me. it took 1 1/2 hrs at 350 before it was set. i added some nutmeg and cayenne pepper for my personal taste. i liked the fact that this didn't use heavy cream so it is lower in calories."

"i made 2 regular loaves with the batter and baked them for 50 minutes until they were cooked. they were very fruity, almost like a fruitcake consistancy. the butter is a nice addition instead of the usual glaze"

"this was delicious. a perfect snack cake with a cup of tea, and quick and easy to prepare. cooking time was right on too. i wasn't sure of the difference between icing and caster sugars so i used confectioners sugar for both layers. i also sprinkled some on top after this cooled.i will be making this again."

"very quick and easy to prepare, i also added some sambal olek to the sauce for a bit of a kick. i should have used less soy sauce, or a light soy as we found this very salty for our taste. we served this over jasmine rice."

"this is a great way to preserve garlic and keep it from sprouting- just place everything in the jar and forget about it for a month. very convenient to have in the fridge."
