    About Me

    New Orleans native who loves to cook.

    My stepson lives with me, as well as three large dogs. Two are sisters, both of the Heinz 57 variety and the other is a 110 lb. german shepherd found wandering around in a McDonald's parking lot. Nobody claimed him.

    My social activity is work and online. I cook for fun and sustenance. Southern propensity. There are many favs.

    Stepson usually plants a garden. I tend it mostly, but I make him pull the weeds. It's all good. We get by.

    I work in the printing business.

    Favorite Foods

    I always said that my last meal request would be fried soft-shelled crabs, fries, toast and tartar sauce. Washing it down with a pound of fried bacon plain on Bunny bread. Pure Heaven.

    I also like  baked macaroni, stuffed artichokes, mirlitons, chicken and dumplings, oatmeal cookies and potato anything.

    In other words, I'm not too picky ;)

    My favorite dish to cook is gumbo, for which I'm kind of famous (a legend in my own mind).

    Favorite restaurants are of the Mexican and Asian variety, though I rarely eat out. Most of my food is made from scratch these days.
