We are new to the heartland of ID. I love the summers here. Picking cherries, huckleberries, blackberries, raspberries. Morell (sp?) mushrooms in spring. The amount of food that God provides wild here is amazing to me. I am a stay at home mom I have 4 kids 1 son in law and 2 grandchildren. Kids are 24,14,9,6. Yes they ARE spaced quite a bit and yes they are all from the same parents. My grandkids are 3 (a girl) and 6 days (a boy). They live in Az with my daughter and son in law, I miss them terribly. Idaho is such a beautiful place. We moved here in the middle of winter so I have a lot to learn about that but so far so good. The people are amazing here, so friendly, nice small town. God is good and so is life.
Living in a place that has such long winters it's a good thing my favorite food to cook and eat is soup. I do miss some of the restaurants in the city though, like Joe's Crab Shack or any other big restaurant for that matter. I just love food in general.
