    About Me

Hi! I live in Edmonds, WA, just a few miles N of Seattle. I am a nursing administrator in a skilled nursing center and love it! What do I like to do for fun? Spend time with my family. It doesn't matter what we do. As far as a favorite cookbook, I have many. My husband jokes about all the cookbooks I have. There are 2 that are my mainstays though, Good Housekeeping and The Joys of Cooking. I recieved these 33 years ago for wedding gifts and rely on them a lot. My biggest passion is playing with my 18 month old grandson. What a joy! What would I do if I had a month off? Hmmmm I'll have to think about that one.

    Favorite Foods

Two of my favorite dishes to cook and eat are Cabbage & Meatballs and Borscht. I grew up on them. My family was never much in favor of them so I rarely make it. My son in law loves my meatloaf. My whole family raves about my Chicken Fetuccine! My husband and I have fun making sushi and a lot of Asian dishes. My favorite restaurant is a shushi restaurant! If anyone had told me I would be eating raw fish one day and loving it I would have said they were crazy! I guess as I get older my "purple" is surfacing :')
