    About Me

I'm a middle aged divorcee without children. Although friends are jealous of the free time I have, I do like recipes that are quick, yet satisfying. I don't like spending a lot of time putzing in the kitchen or doing a lot of cleanup. I'm a recent survivor of a heart attack, so have dramatically adjusted my diet. I'm hungry for tasty, yet low fat and low sodium recipes. I'm finding that there are oodles of simple, but good recipes on this site, so wanted to start sharing some of my own.

    Favorite Foods

My favorite restaurant is a place called Q Cumbers, in Edina, MN. You just can't walk out with a guilty conscience about your dining experience there. They have THE best salad bar, everything is so fresh and there's a large variety of ingredients to choose from. They also offer at least 3 different kinds of homemade soups, with their fabulous breadsticks and mini muffins. My only complaint is that we need more of these types of restaurants, closer to my neighborhood.
