I love British baking (not cooking!)-my heritage. My kids and a few other people in my life have inspired me to cook more international dishes. Among my favorites are Indian foods. I only just found a tiny shop boasting a huge variety of reasonably priced spices and cooking utensils right here in town and it's been there for 18 years!
My son and I love to cruise food stores and we have to admit we're on the snobbish side of cooking. We love good quality ingredients and delight in a new source.
I enjoy eating almost anything my son makes from Julia Childs' cookbook. I adore a good moussaka. We just came across a delicious Greek restaurant in town that makes one of the best I've ever eaten and their dessert is heaven! The restaurant is called Asteras Greek Taverna, in the Old City Quarter.
