I am a stay at home mum of four. My eldest is now 8 and my baby is 3, not a baby any more! I have been married for 12 years and have one very happy and well fed hubby.
My goal is to try one new recipe a week. I am proud to say that I have achieved this goal for the past 7 years. My family hardly ever eats out at restaurants anymore (one due to the price) but manly as I have perfected the dishes that we used to go out for!! Since finding the zaar website, I no longer purchase cook books, which is great as I own over 250, space becoming an issue.
When I am not cooking I am running a busy household, helping at school and kinder, and busy with church activities. I am also the Marketing sales manager for our family business. I have a Fashion Marketing degree which has come in very helpful.
My philosophy in life is: as we have to eat, we may as well eat well.
Italian, Mexican and almost any dessert!! I am mostly known for my themed dinner parties, these can be a real hoot - particularly when there are lots of children involved.
Living in Australia, our family loves a good BBQ, marinated vegetables and a good steak never go astray to please everyone.
If you ask my husband, he loved my roast lamb and chicken enchiladas. I always make heaps, I don't know how to cook small, and don't want to learn!
