"This soup was very good. I made it as written except for the fire-roasted tomatoes, which I don't like so I used stewed tomatoes instead and I left out the red-pepper flakes. I was very liberal with the black pepper and added some salt, too"

"My husband and I really liked this pie but felt that the cherries, sugar and tapioca should have been cooked in order to release some juice from the fruit because as it was, the tapioca had nothing to thicken. But the pie had a good taste even though I forgot to add the butter. I will try it again but will cook the fruit down some next time.<br/..."

"This was my first attempt at making a cherry pie and it turned out great! I also brushed egg wash on crust before baking. I made this for my hubbies 50th birthday and he loved it, (with vanilla ice cream. Mine was not liquidy at all. Thanks for an easy delicious recipe"

"I've been looking for this recipe! I had not been able to find the frozen gumbo veggies so I couldn't remember how to make this...I had made this off the veggie pkg awhile back and everyone loved it. I did add shrimp and sausage. So much easier than traditional gumbo but w/all the flavor..It's more like a soup but, hey, soups great!"

"I had high hopes for these muffins. They were good but not great. I too added vanilla as one reviewer did and the only spice I used in the batter was cinnamon since I don't care for nutmeg and allspice. I also mixed the cinnamon sugar mixture, along with chopped pecans, into the batter before baking it. Then I drizzled a simple powdered sugar ..."

"I made a similar dip this past weekend for a baby shower. Most people kind crinkled their noses when they first looked at it but once they tasted it they were surprised at how tasty it was. It is especially good with scoop-style corn chips. I did not add onions or peppers to mine but everything else was the same."

"I was sent this recipe through a Southern Living Facebook application and just had to try it and was I glad I did. I made it for one of my co-worker's birthday and everyone loved it. I did not make a meringue though as it was so humid I knew it would not work so I put extra-creamy whipped topping on it and sprinkled a crushed up Skor bar on top...."

"We ate at famous Dave's in Abilene TX and loved it! I'd been craving the Wilbur Beans and Cornbread and thankfully found the recipe here. I didn't have the right BBQ sauce or seasoning but used what I had and it still turned out very yummy. My husband loved them. I did not use any jalapeno. We like our beans sweet. Thanks for a great recipe"
