"Well.... I have to echo the accolades of everyone else. For a super-easy meal, I used a Costco tenderloin pre-marinated with mushroom and something (I forget. It came in a two pack, with each pack holding two long skinny tenderloins. I placed the two long skinny tenderloins tightly together in the center of a large oiled corningware baking dish...."

"Really nice recipe without any additions. Just an FYI... I thought I'd cook up three batches and freeze some. I made the mistake of trying to fry several batches of meatballs in a row. The pan in which I was frying them got coated with too much burnt material, so when I tried to make the roux, I had all these little black bits (not pretty. I cook..."

"Very good flavors. I used only half the amount of dressing in proportion to the cabbage as called for, and just about half the sugar, and less carrot, because I prefer slaw more crunchy than creamy, and not much sweet. Really pretty on a plate."

"What a great, healthy winter treat! For our spice loving fellow here, I added a bit of red pepper flake, and rather than using flour to thicken, I pureed a couple cups of the soup and beans and added them back to the pot. Another really wonderful feature is that, by using really lean ham, you have a very rich-tasting soup with minimal fat. Great r..."

"This is a really great version of a classic comfort food. I substituted about three cloves minced fresh garlicfor the garlic powder, and added a little salt and fresh black papper to the meat mixture and a few red pepper flakes to the sauce. Just an FYI; it made up just enough for a 9 x 13 baking dish. Thanks CoolMonday!"

"Great comfort food recipe and a great use of leftover turkey too! I used turkey and home-made turkey stock. It has a nice thickness to the filling, and a really good proportion of meat to vegetables to sauce. Did two pie pans (like Chef Barry... thanks!. Appreciate your great winter dish breezymom!"

"Super Delicious! I used granny smith apples (11, and found that the entire recipe needed to be doubled for a 9 x 13 pan. I added a bit more oatmeal after processing to retain more of the full oatmeal texture. Perfect with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. Thanks for a great recipe jinx."

"Did the whole thing just as written. Really delicious valentines day breakfast for a blueberry "lover". The blueberry syrup was light and intensely flavorful. Just right."

"Nice, even flavors. Wouldn't overpower anything else. I might consider a bit of something (more cayenne? to add a bit of a bite. Very mild. Thanks!"

"This is AWESOME! I served three tarts at a party, and this, the simplest of the three, was the hands-down favorite. I followed the recipe, even using the purchased pastry, and it was a clear winner. I used organic cranberries from Whole Foods, and a simple Pillbsbury pie crust from the refrigerated foods section. Thanks Mariel, for a winner!"
