    "This is just a clarification note - some people seem to be confused about the syrup listed at the end of the instructions. I think this refers to the sweetened strawberry juice that collects in the bowl with the berries, not that neon pink milk-flavouring junk you buy in the grocery store."

    "Delicious! Exactly what I was looking for - a very light, sweet, and moist cornbread. I did make a couple changes - used whole wheat flour, brown sugar, and heated the baking pan with a little oil while mixing the batter to give it a crispy crust. I also omitted the honey on top, as I found the bread sweet enough without. Perhaps I'll use hone..."

    "very good! substituted oil for strong, brewed coffee, used whole wheat flour, and reduced sugar to 1/3 cup - turned out great! added a chocolate-coffee glaze on top for a little extra sweetness!"
