    Reviewed Four Cheese Spinach Quiche

"Delicious! My friends and family devoured it. This recipe is in my favorite stand-bys! Three suggestions: 1. You really do need an 11-in. pan. I tried a 9-1/2 in. pie pan and a 9-3/4 in. springform pan, but both were too small for all the filling. Everything fit when I used the 11-in. 2. You can cut the feta cheese. With all the other cheeses, ..."

    Reviewed Dumplings

"These dumplings are AWESOME! The herb mixture lends a very nice aftertaste. A good tip is to grate the chilled butter directly into the flour mixture. It makes it much easier to cut in, while still allowing a perfect consistency when steamed."

    Reviewed Turkey Dumpling Stew

"I'm rating and reviewing based on a significant modification--I use a leftover rotisserie chicken carcass and essentially halve the rest of the recipe for chicken dumpling stew instead. It is one of my favorite meals and consistently receives complements. Plus, I love how it doesn't let anything go to waste! "

    Reviewed Creamed Spinach

"Excellent recipe! I also had issues with it being too salty, but I compensate by halving the salt since I use regular table salt. This recipe always wows and is a keeper! "

    About Me

As much as I love fussy cooking, real-world cooking demands keepme grounded. I love trying new recipes, measuring and preparing to the smallest details, while at the same time watching seasoned cooks improvise and invent. Second only to my cooking hobby is my love for aerobics--gotta compensate somehow for all of this cooking!

    Favorite Foods

    Fresh basil

    Oranges and lemons

    Onions and garlic

    Fresh raspberries

    Toasted hazelnuts and pecans

It's easier to think in terms of my favorite ingredients. There are just some staples that nearly guarantee a tasty dish. The aromas of toasting, chopping, sauteeing are matched only by the occassional finger dip. And, of course, how could I forget:

    Cream

    Butter
