"So glad to find a sugar free low fat YUMMY quick bread that doesn't taste like cardboard! I made just one change because I didn't have whole wheat flour; I used King Arthur white whole wheat instead (I suppose you could even use regular AP flour, but haven't tried that yet. The bread came out moist, easy to slice, nice balance of flavors. The car..."

"No garlic? Is this a mistake? Made it WITH garlic and no beef, subbed in some leftover roasted chicken and used all vegetable broth. Hearty and healthy!

"I am a novice when it comes to preserving, but this recipe did just fine, even with some of my own changes. I used red & yellow bell peppers instead of green, used Thai peppers instead of Jalpenos, also added a few cloves of garlic to the mix, and instead of green food coloring used a few drops of red and yellow. I left some of the seeds and chile ..."

"As good, perhaps even better, than most crab cakes or other types of fish cakes that I've had. I did add a pinch of kosher salt to the mixture and used 1/2 cup of EggBeaters in place of the one egg in the recipe and the additional egg that most have suggested. I also added about a half cup of minced sweet red bell pepper which also added to the ta ..."

"This recipe is simple, delicious, what more could you ask for? I changed it up a bit and used half sugar and half Splenda and it was still very sweet. I also used egg substitute in the cobbler dough, as well as a tsp. of good vanilla extract. It bumped up the flavor a bit and made it taste richer and more dessert-y instead of like a biscuit dough. ..."

"After watching the program on how to do this, we felt more confident about frying a turkey. We didn't want to be one of those people you hear stories about that burned their house down while making dinner! We've done it numerous times now, and it comes out excellent every time. On Thanksgiving we make one roasted (also AB's recipe and one fried.. ..."

"This is a very easy recipe with excellent results every time. I used ring molds only because I already had them. I used the shortening, but I generally try to stay away from that stuff so might try one of the suggested alternatives next time. I also sprinkle a bit of cornmeal on the batter after I put it into the mold. I will never buy English muf ..."
