    About Me

    I am a mother of many and married to a long time friend. Combined we have 6 children already and we are adding another to the mix. Being pregnant is definately the fuel to the food fire, I am always hungry and I need to explore new foods as I am bored with what I usually eat. Our family is growing and so are we, this is a great place for us to expand one of our horizons. Our Food Horizon!

    Favorite Foods

    I am unfortunatey not famous for any of me dishes, as they are hand me down recipes. I aspire to be the kind of mom where my children tell their spouse's about the great dish mom made when we were growing up, but i am not that experienced in cooking yet. I am learnning from this site some of the ways to mix up some foods and "stuff" to create great dishes.
    I have made an eggplant parmesean (from good morning america; to induce labor!) and it was the best recipe. Unfortunately it didn't do the trick, but it was so YUMMY!
    Our family doesn't have a favorite restaurant, however we have favorite restaurant dishes, most of which I've been able to get copy cat recipes of from this site. Our most favorite food is a simple recipe that I started making and I am sure is not original, a dish of stovetop porkchops over a bed of rice mixed with red, green, and yellow bell peppers stripped, and onion chunks sauteed in butter/margarine. Oh the unhealthiness of that!
