"I had to use coconut pudding instead of vanilla and it was very good. I made a whipped topping with Cool Whip/ Instant pudding mix/eggnog to thin; and this went very well with the cake. Thanks for a great recipe! My son loved it."

"I am rating this on the dumplings mostly because I added celery, carrots, onions, green beans and peas to the soup. We loved the dumplings. I tore off little pieces like one reviewer suggested and they were perfect. I am making them a second time today and this time added some cajon seasoning salt for the salt called for. Thanks for a great re..."

"I made this for my son's birthday, as a bundt cake. Everyone loved it. It was a very moist cake and the eggnog flavor was perfect. I am making it again today with regular cream cheese frosting, since I have just enough to make the cake. I greased the pan and instead of using flour, I use sugar to prepare the pan. It makes a nice little crunch..."

"I didn't make this recipe as stated, only because I had blueberries and peaches to use up. This was the exact type of topping I wanted to use and it was delicious and exactly what I was looking for. I can't wait to try this with apples too. Thanks!"

"I made this soup yesterday to go with a family taco bar, and it was a big hit. I had some tamales in the freezer that weren't up to our usual standard, not bad, but not great. I used them and it was delicious. I only had about six tamales, but that was fine. The only change I made was to use Rotel instead of canned tomatoes. Thanks for the re..."

"I made this yesterday for lunch with a friend and really enjoyed it. I did add a little Mexican oregano, pickled jalapeno juice and garnished with fresh chopped cilantro leaves. I used bacon because that is what I had on hand. I think this would be great with black beans also. The leftover beans are cooking in my crockpot right now in a batch ..."

"We really liked this chicken, but next time I will leave out the Tabasco in the egg wash. I didn't really care for the flavor it added. But I loved loved loved the texture of breading on the chicken. The addition of baking powder to the flour mixture makes it a really light and crispy. I agree with another review about the wash taking off too ..."

"This is the second time I have made these and I like them even better with my additions. I was out of allspice, so I subbed mace and cloves. I added about 1/2 teaspoon vanilla to the batter. As others suggested i subbed the oil for the butter in the batter. For the topping, I added in equal parts brown sugar to the white sugar. This is what r..."
